    Who Is Rand Fishkin?

As, the co-founder of Moz and Inbound.org and the co-author of The Art of SEO, Rand is one of the foremost industry leaders in the field of search marketing. An admitted addict of all things content, search and social, Rand began experimenting with site building in 1993 and has been captivated by the workings of the World Wide Web ever since. Within his 12 years as a leading authority on search marketing, Fishkin has presented to teams at Google, Facebook and Microsoft as well as at various marketing and media conferences around the world.

From 2007-2013, he was Moz’s CEO but later moved into his new position as an individual contributor after handing the CEO reigns to Sarah Bird. When he’s not discovering new tricks of the trade and inventing new ways of approaching and developing web marketing, Rand is out exploring the globe with his wife, Geraldine.

Heavy Chef has had the honour of hosting Rand Fishkin before, when in January 2013, he presented the latest SEO trends. Watch his presentations here:

I think it answers the question ‘What is a blog?‘ aptly enough: Read Further
