Little known outside of China, the service has been called the biggest social media forum on the planet with over 300 million accounts. According to Marketing Vox, QQ turned almost 4 times more money than Facebook with over $500m in 2007. Not a bad investment for Naspers, and just a taste of the mobile revolution that’s currently impacting on marketing communications.
