The World Wide Creative team went surfing on Saturday. We all went through to Cape Town’s famous Muizenberg beach, and aided by our fleet-footed surf coach Craig, we were ably shown how to pull some nifty moves off in the waves.
(Left) Rowan, Paul, Liz and Mike listening to Craig going through the basics, while praying that no footage will reach YouTube.
(Above) Possibly more exercise than anyone has seen in a year.
(Above) This move was called ‘Checking to see if your leg is there after you’ve been savaged by a Great White’
(Above) World Wide Creative enters the water, as lifesavers are being called in from surrounding beaches.
(Above) Rudolf Janse van Slater killing it while Mike Machado Perk watches on.
(Above) Rudolf went on to win the first World Wide Creative surfing award, after rocking several waves on his first ever surfing attempt.
We were in the water for 2 hours, and then had a fantastic lunch at Brass Bell down the road in Kalk Bay.
P.S. I have it on good authority that there were several World WIde Creative team members at Replay Sports checking out boards on Monday. This is unconfirmed, but if some computer geek crashes your wave while you’re out at Outer Kom, you can send complaints to surfing@worldwidecreative.co.za

Hey, thanks for reminding me Rowan!! I forgot about that pic… : )
Actually, come to think of it, Rudolf’s got all the ’shower pics’ – guess you’ll have to bring some bribes to work tomorrow…
