Heavy Chef Session March: David Duarte’s presentation on ‘Social Media in South Africa’ Posted in Heavy Chef News, Concocted by Fred Roed, 2 comments
Published on 27 March 2008

Last night we were privileged to witness our old buddy Dave Duarte share some views, thoughts and ideas on Social Media in South Africa.

We outgrew the World Wide Creative studio for this session, which was held at a new venue after a huge increase of interest over the past 2 months. It was a great success, with Hatfields Restaurant in Gardens providing us with a perfect balance of privacy, space and good service (with Alison and Colin doing a sterling job of looking after us – thanks guys!)

We will be sharing some video footage of the event in a short while, but here are some snaps in the meantime…

Thanks to all who contributed to the evening, including Rowan, World Wide Creative’s legendary studio manager who did much of the behind the scenes stuff to make it happen. A huge thanks, once again, to the legendary Mr Duarte, for providing us with some meaty marketing fare. See you soon, Dave!

P.S. Don’t forget the next Session with Phil Barrett (from Flow Interactive), who will be talking all about usability on websites. Not one to miss, see you there! Email us if you’d like to attend.
