Using visitor trends on your website can aid your other marketing efforts. Taking the above website visitor statistics it is evident that Tuesday is the day that your companys website is most popular. If you know this is the time of the week that people are interested in your products/services try to tie in marketing such as newsletter sends (email or snail mail) so they arrive on that Tuesday. Hopefully they will then be more willing to read that material. I appreciate there could be many more unknown variables but you may as well make the most of the information you do have.

    You can even go one step further and see what time they are more likely to look at the site or even measure time/days that people convert on your site. To do this you’ll need to set up goals in google analytics.
