Louis Janse van Rensburg, World WIde Creative Jbg Manager, was interviewed by Lerato Mbele on Business AM on CNBC Africa this morning. He was interviewed about building online communities, and harnessing the power of a crowd via the internet.
The interview related closely to what’s happening with Barack Obama, which has turned into one of the most successful internet-based marketing campaigns of all time. We’ve been tracking the campaign with great interest since we’ve been briefed to evolve the Democratic Alliance web marketing strategy here in South Africa.
On the side, we gave Louis his word, which was ‘Ice Cream’ but he didn’t manage to slip it in. My word in my interview with Peter Ndoro a few weeks ago was ‘Venezuela’ which I got in after the first 30 seconds, check it out. Louis did, however, manage to touch his ear, which was for his wife (awww).
Louis – good to see you got your priorities right…!
