Heavy Chef & WWC Bring You The Future Trends / Innovation VIP Masterclass

On the days directly after FutureWorld’s Craig Wing and WWC’s Mike Perk, are on stage in Johannesburg and Cape Town on the 25th and 30th January, both consultants have agreed to conduct a VIP Masterclass to a select, limited group of attendees. This is your opportunity to take a deep dive into Blockchain, AI, VR, big data and people who want to live forever - and then apply it to your own personal organisation.

This topic is the brainchild of digital transformation firm WWC, which was founded by Mike Perk. The two Masterclasses will see both Craig Wing and Mike Perk spending a lot more time unpacking the topics of trends, innovation and deep diving into the technologies you need to be paying attention to - and giving you personal focus on how to implement them into your organisation and life. Both Masterclasses will occur the day after our evening events - so 26th in JHB and 31st in CT - and will cost R1480 per seat, for three hours with Mike and Craig.

Sessions are limited to 20 people per Masterclass.

When pressed on why we need this Masterclass, Craig Wing says: “We're moving into a world where data is aggregated through IoT, managed by a AI and then that information is pushed into a disripbuted array of self driving vehicles that make decisions and send that to their users via blockchain. While that may not be a specific use case, it’s really where the technology works in an exponential, multiplier affect whereby the world of tomorrow is unrecognisable from the science fiction we have today.”

Perk: "Much of the information, research and analysis on tech trends is common knowledge. Craig and I are teaming up with Heavy Chef to ensure that this is a truly useful session. Delegates will leave feeling both inspired and empowered."

Mike Perk, on his role in the workshop: "I aim to take Craig's research and assist my delegates to apply these learnings into the most practical manner possible. The big question is whether we actually need to apply anything. Sometimes, the best option is to watch and learn. In other cases, a rapid-prototyping approach is better."

"Many of these types of events focus merely on the information," says Perk. "Much of the information, research and analysis on tech trends is common knowledge. Craig and I are teaming up with Heavy Chef to ensure that this is a truly useful session. Delegates will leave feeling both inspired and empowered."
