SweepSouth revealed that it is the recipient of a R30-million investment by Naspers. In October last year, Naspers announced that it had created a $100m fund aiming at investing, via its venture capital fund Naspers Foundry, in local South African startups. SweepSouth is the first significant deal within the fund to be concluded.
