SweepSouth revealed that it is the recipient of a R30-million investment by Naspers. In October last year, Naspers announced that it had created a $100m fund aiming at investing, via its venture capital fund Naspers Foundry, in local South African startups. SweepSouth is the first significant deal within the fund to be concluded. SweepSouth, founded in 2014 by Aisha Pandor and husband Alen Ribic is an online cleaning services platform that connects clients with domestic cleaners.
