Carla leads the national team of Navigators (lecturers) across 4 campuses nationwide. About This Masterclass

Many South African entrepreneurs, businesses and organisations unfortunately still regard brand as a function of marketing. As a result, brand building is often reduced to ‘image making’ or ‘image saving’. This outdated and discredited approach needs turning on its head. Once a start-up entrepreneur realises that his or her brand is propelled by the basic reason that the venture exists, modelling the business will naturally evolve to grow and protect its unique identity.

About Dr. Carla

Carla’s interest and experience include everything from brand strategy, the design and implementation of brand identity systems and contact strategies. She serves on the Brand Africa Council, is a Research Associate at the University of Stellenbosch Business School and a Teaching Fellow at the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business. Carla acts as a consultant to and trainer for companies, both local and international. Carla is passionate about education in South Africa and throughout the African continent.
