The nominations are in. We put a call out on 1 November to our community of 20,000+ subscribers and, after nearly 1,000 total entries and 141 unique entries, we have five finalists for 2018, and we’ve asked them to present on our stage on Tuesday night 4th December, how they are changing the world.

  • DataProphet - Isaac Matsa, Head of Sales

  • LifeCheq - Abu Addae, Co-founder

  • LifeQ - Riaan Conradie, Co-founder

  • Thursdays - Shona Macdonald, Founder

2017’s winners were SweepSouth, Wala, Zoona, JUMO and Yoco. The leaders and co-founders all shared last year’s stage at the penultimate event of 2017. This year promises to be bigger and better, with an audience of ecosystem leaders and presentations by Heavy Chef CEO Fred Roed, Wesgro CEO Tim Harris and representatives from the five winning startups. The event will be MCd by Caley Africa, Siya Mbaba Wilson and DJd by the legendary Mo Flava. Yup. Frikken awesome, right? So, what are you waiting for?
