Bonga Jwambi is a furniture designer with the uncanny ability to make something beautiful out of anything. He's well-known for the upcycled furniture he creates using materials like pallets and box plastic strapping. With no formal training or design background, Bonga has taught himself the clean, simple, minimalistic aesthetic that is his signature. He was named an emerging furniture designer by Design Indaba in 2015 and his work is featured at the Workshop17 in the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town.
