Dr Ian Webster has been a practising dermatologist for just under 30 years. He did his post-graduate training in skin and laser surgery at Harvard Medical School, USA and was the first dermatologist to import a skin laser into South Africa. In 1993, he co-founded the first dedicated skin laser clinic at the Christiaan Barnard Memorial Hospital in Cape Town and started his private practice as a specialist dermatologist in Somerset West. He co-founded Dermastore with his son Greg in 2015, the first online skincare store in South Africa that specialises in selling niche, curated skincare products.
