Who Is Our Heavy Chef?

Kabambi (KB) Mbiola is an artist, painter, creative and marketing director, and co-founder of Fuata Moyo. With over a decade of experience as a fashion buyer, KB’s expertise spans branding, design communication, concept development, and the curation of creative experiences and activations. His work celebrates African culture, design, and storytelling through creative expression. Guided by the belief that love is the spirit that motivates an artist’s journey, KB is deeply passionate about documenting the creative process, curating authentic experiences, and championing collaboration and knowledge sharing within the creative community. As co-founder of Fuata Moyo — meaning “follow the heart” in Swahili — KB leads a family-run brand that blends the worlds of art and fashion to create distinctive garments and immersive experiences. Together with his siblings, he continues to build a brand rooted in creativity, culture, and connection.
