Who Is Our Heavy Chef?

Kobus Ehlers is the brains behind one of South Africaā€™s most popular payment apps. The founder and former CEO of SnapScan began his career as a researcher and lecturer at Stellenbosch University. Passionate about tech and user design, he joined technology incubator FireID, where he built and launched SnapScan in 2013. The accessible mobile payment app is now used by over 60 000 merchants in SA. After exiting SnapScan, he started HR and payroll solutions platform Radar in 2018.
